Gnar

This is a concept sketcth of one of many strange beings that will appear in "No Regrets", a story being written by Bonita Russell. He is drawn with his left appendage raised so that we can see his flank, however he normally walks on his knuckles like a Terran Gorilla. When not in use, his delicate manipulative appendages are nestled protectively in his chest cavity. Gnars are intelligent and technological, but aggressive and territorial, and are subject to breeding restrictions enforced by the Galactic Senate. This policy is much maligned by the very prolific Gnar people.
